Update following members' meeting - Kyndryl

24 July 2026

Thanks to everyone who attended our members’ meeting yesterday to discuss the ongoing situation regarding redundancies in Kyndryl.

Our members told us at the meeting that they are overwhelmingly in favour of issuing a ballot for industrial action in order to protect our 2024 Agreement covering redundancy terms, including terms for IBM transfers who are currently impacted by redundancies.

Ultimately, FSU wishes Kyndryl to honour our Agreement and recognise the historic redundancy terms for all who are currently impacted and into the future.

I will be meeting with our General Secretary, John O’Connell, and your FSU representative, Kevin McGoldrick, next week to discuss next steps.

I will update you as soon as possible to confirm ballot dates and arrangements.

The ballot will be conducted by post to your home address. If you have moved home address, please send an email to info@fsunion.org with subject line “Kyndryl updated address” with your new details.

If any of your colleagues are not yet members of FSU, now is the time to ask them to join and ask them to support our action. Our collective strength relies on our membership. They can join FSU at www.fsunion.org/join.
