Redundancies at Google – Your Union is Here to Support You
Your Union has been made aware that Google may shortly be implementing a limited number of redundancies.
At this stage, we do not have specific details regarding the scale of impact. However, it does not currently appear to reach the threshold that would require the commencement of collective consultation under the Protection of Employment Acts.
Nevertheless, we understand that this may be an uncertain and concerning time for our members. Your Union is here to support you.
If you are affected or have any concerns, we encourage you to contact our Advice Centre, where our team can provide expert, confidential employment law advice.
