This morning, Bank of Ireland announced a major change to hybrid working.

Our union is seeking an agreement with the Bank that facilitates reasonable and positive hybrid arrangements while also protecting your rights to hybrid work.

The Bank’s new position would mandate a minimum of 8 days/month in-person work with a start date of September.

This is a major change for staff and will have implications for work/life balance, commute time, childcare, staff retention, and more.

We need to know how you feel about the bank’s position and what you would change if you could.

We are launching a survey today and will hold members’ meetings on Tuesday 15 July at 9:30am and Wednesday 16 July at 1.00pm.

The survey is open to all staff who have hybrid working arrangements – union members and non-members. Please share the link far and wide with all of your hybrid colleagues.

Your feedback will be used to inform our negotiations.
