Cost of Living Crisis petition: Fuel Up. Food Costs Up. Support Must Go Up. - All Game Workers

Rising fuel and food prices are putting real financial strain on workers across gaming sector. The escalating costs of commuting, groceries, and everyday essentials are making it harder for staff to make ends meet. And in an industry where precarity and job security already create uncertainty; it’s time for employers to show some sense and support workers with real cost-of-living relief.

Game Workers United Ireland (GWUI), together with the Financial Services Union (FSU), is urging employers to step up with practical, meaningful support that reflects these growing pressures. We’re gathering signatures to make sure our collective voice is heard loud and clear.

We’re calling for measures such as vouchers to assist with soaring food costs, lunch allowances, reduced pressure to work from the office, travel and mileage allowances, fuel supports, and other real cost‑of‑living reliefs.
