144 Signatures and Counting

In less than 24 hours, our petition for fair and consistent redundancy terms at FinTrU has received 144 signatures from FinTrU employees, and the number is continuing to grow.

Thank you to everyone who has already signed. If you haven't yet done so, please add your name and encourage your colleagues to sign too. The more employees who support the petition, the stronger our collective voice becomes.

Sign the petition: https://bit.ly/FSUFinTrUPetition

As a reminder, the petition calls for enhanced redundancy terms for employees affected by the current proposals and for those same terms to apply in any future redundancy situations. This is about fairness and consistency for all FinTrU employees, both now and in the future.

To help promote the petition, posters and flyers are available for members to print and display in the workplace. You can access them here: https://lnk.fsunion.org/4zQ1122

Because we have now exceeded the 100-signature threshold set out in the petition, we have written to the CEO of FinTrU outlining the collective demands of employees and submitting the petition. We will write again when the petition reaches 200 signatures and will continue to make representations to management each time we reach a new milestone.

We also want to remind members that there is a statutory process in Northern Ireland which can be used to secure trade union recognition. Recognition would give employees a stronger collective voice and create a formal framework for discussions with the company on workplace issues that matter to staff.

To put ourselves in the strongest possible position, we need to continue growing union membership across FinTrU, so please encourage colleagues who are not yet members to join: https://www.fsunion.org/join

Thank you again for your support. The response so far has shown that employees care deeply about fairness and consistency in the workplace. Let's keep the momentum going.

With thanks,
