Positive News - AIB 06/26 - AIB Group

04 March 2026

AIB 06/26

We are pleased to confirm that the Bank is awarding the full 5%, the maximum award payable under the Variable Remuneration scheme.

As you know, this is what the Union has been pushing for based on the Bank’s performance. The Bank has hit its profit underpin target as well as its 6 key measurements to pay out the full amount.

Information in relation to the Approved Profit Share Scheme (APSS) and Share Incentive Plan (SIP) enrolment timelines will be communicated by the bank in the coming days.

It is important to note that all PR statements must be on the system by 12 March 2026 for the outcome of the pay deal to be made so please confirm with your reviewer this is the case.

FSU secured this form of reward through both our engagement with the Government and with AIB. We will continue to work to improve your working experience in AIB.
