Industrial Action Ballot Outcome and WRC Pay Proposals - Infosys
05 January 2026
I can confirm that members in ROI have voted overwhelmingly in favour of industrial action in the recent ballot which closed prior to the Christmas break.
As per the legislation I can confirm the following result:
- The number of ballot papers issued was 62
- The number of votes cast was 44
- The number of votes in favour of the proposal was 44
- The number of votes against the proposal was nil
- The number of spoilt votes was 1
However, as we have concluded conciliation talks at the WRC and have a proposal we will not be serving notice on the employer at this point but reserve the right to pending the outcome of said pay proposal ballot.
WRC Pay Proposals
Following difficult negotiations at the WRC we reached a set of proposals to put to you in a ballot.
Your Committee and I believe these are the best we could achieve in this process and so support and recommend the proposals for acceptance. It is, however, disappointing that the employer refused to backdate the increase as requested by your team.
It is agreed to implement an increment of 3.5%, effective 1st April 2026 in the following manner:
PL | OS | CD | ME | NI | UP |
3 | 5.79% | 4.82% | 3.86% | 0% | 0%
|
4 | 5.50% | 4.58% | 3.67% | 0% | 0%
|
5 | 5.21% | 4.34% | 3.47% | 0% | 0%
|
6 | 4.92% | 4.10% | 3.28% | 0% | 0%
|
7 | 4.63% | 3.86% | 3.09% | 0% | 0%
|
In addition, this proposal also applies to employees who work in Northern Ireland.
In relation to future pay discussions, the employer will commit to engage in pay talks at the start of April for each calendar year with a view to reaching agreement at the earliest opportunity. The next set of pay talks will commence in April 2027.
