Hold the line on hybrid! - BOI 23/25 - BOI Group
07 August 2025
BOI 23/25
The Bank’s current proposed changes to hybrid working practices are NOT agreed with the FSU. The Bank is proposing to change your working practices unilaterally without having exhausted our negotiation procedures.
We have just commenced negotiations with the Bank, providing them significant feedback from our Union survey, and we will continue these discussions.
At this point, we have advised the Bank that they need to exhaust our negotiating procedures, up to and including the Labour Court if necessary, before any implementation.
We are therefore also directing you to maintain and stick to your current working practices on hybrid until otherwise advised by your Union.
If you need individual support, please contact your Sector Committee member. You should also submit a flexible work request. More guidance on flexible work requests is available for members on our website by clicking here.
We are conscious that not all staff can avail of hybrid working, but for those who can this is a hugely important issue. Unilateral changes to working conditions are unacceptable. We ask for your solidarity on this issue to support your colleagues when they need you.
If your colleagues are not members of the FSU, they need to join now. Our union needs the full backing of workers on this issue. They can join online at www.fsunion.org/fsu/join.
