FSU diary 2019 - new 'opt-in' system

21 August 2018

The Financial Services Union works hard to ensure that our members, and their families, can avail of a range of great benefits throughout the year.

As you know, our core mission is to protect and improve your pay, your terms and conditions and to building sustainable, rewarding careers in banking and financial services.

However, we also do a lot more for members.  We invest resources in family days out in Dublin, Belfast and Cork.  We offer members reduced-price tickets to pantomimes, cinema entry and Tayto Park. We also deliver great value to members on car, home and travel insurance and a range of other products and services available through our discount scheme.

We are proud to deliver value to our members.  However, it is only right that we monitor the cost of each initiative and keep that under review.

As you know we currently post a FSU diary to every member each year.  However, recently, more and more members tell us that they don’t actually use a physical diary and we need to respond to that reality.

We will continue to send a FSU diary to all retired and associate members.  They don’t have to take any action and their diary will arrive as usual later this year.

However, for members in employment we’ve decided to ask each member if they want a hardcopy diary for 2019.

If you do, great!  Just click this link , log-in  as a member, go to ‘FSU Diary’ tab.  It will only take one minute to opt in and you’ll have a diary in late 2018/early 2019.

The link will ask you to first log in as an FSU member and then, on the left hand side of the page just click ‘FSU Diary’ which brings you to the simple order form.

If you don’t opt in then we’ll assume that you don’t require a hardcopy diary this year.

Thank you for your time; we appreciate your membership and support and remain committed to providing our members with the services and discounts they want.
