Ballot Update and Clarifications - AIB GRoup - AIB 30/25

15 October 2025

AIB 30/25

Ballot update

FSU will now proceed to ballot members from Wednesday 22 October to Wednesday 5 November 2025. Members will receive an e-ballot with a unique voting code, UVC, from our balloting partners at Mi Voice on the morning of the 22 October.  The ballot is confidential.

Legal advice

Following legal advice, and in line with best practice and relevant legislation on balloting, only those members who are in a trade dispute with the company, should be balloted on this matter. Accordingly, only those members who are hybrid workers and are covered under the proposed AIB and FSU Hybrid Working Principles 2025 should vote.

The ballot questions will ask you to confirm you are currently a hybrid worker.

Make sure all non-members are asked to join by Friday this week to ensure they are included in the ballot. Join online here https://www.fsunion.org/join/

If you have any questions on the proposals or on the balloting process please reply to this email.

Clarifications

The Bank has now agreed with FSU that under the proposals for part-time staff, the days in the office would be on a pro-rata basis.  So, for a 3 day a week part-timer, the requirement would be 1 day in the office or for a 4 day a week part-timer, the requirement would be 2 days in the office.

In addition to this, the Bank has agreed that all staff should have their office location confirmed to them in the next ten days as we understand a number of staff had no details on this.
