AI and Job Losses - Indeed

In recent days we have seen the announcement by Indeed of global job losses as a result of new AI.

The Company has refused to indicate numbers per country affected and so it is not clear if staff in Ireland are impacted. If you are, please contact our advice centre here for support and guidance.

It is vital staff at Indeed continue to organise and unionise as it is clear AI is going to have a significant negative impact on jobs over the coming years in this sector.

FSU is seeking AI agreements with employers to better protect jobs and provide a just transition to AI.
